Clayton Rakes began when the Yozwiak children, Brady (then 7) and Brooklyn (then 5), rallied neighbors to rake leaves in honor of their dad.
What started as a small act of love on Clayton Court quickly outgrew the street and transformed into a powerful community tradition.
Each year, more and more volunteers gather for this signature event to rake leaves for donations that support ALS research through ALS TDI.
It’s about raising awareness, building connection, and carrying Chris’s legacy forward.
Beyond the Bases is an annual fundraising event hosted by the Lake Erie Crushers to honor lives and raise funds for causes close to the Yozwiak family’s heart.
The event brings together families, friends, and fans for an evening of purpose.
Proceeds benefit organizations like the ALS Therapy Development Institute and the American Heart Association, continuing the fight against diseases that have touched so many.
It’s a night of remembrance, generosity, and hope that truly goes beyond the bases.
